…or: A Photo Essay Staring the Interloping Midget
Observe the kitten asleep on my bed. Disgustingly cute, isn’t it? Yeah…I hate that. No really, I do.
The kitten is completely and totally oblivious to things like movement, camera noises, and the two other cats it shares the apartment with. Just snoozing away.
Notice how, even in sleep, the kitten seems to know it is being photographed and turns its internal ‘cute’ level up to eleven. The kitten does this on purpose.
I call this pose the ‘road kill.’ LibraryDiva won’t find that as funny as I do.
As I sorted through my CD collection last night the kitten decided that it would ‘help.’ It climbed all over me, the CD cases, the file box and then me again before deciding that this was the best possible place to resume napping.
It’s a tough life.
