Scenes from Real Life

So, I have a former coworker with whom I have lunch about once a week, usually Mexican food.

And we are going to have lunch together today.

So when my current coworkers asked about my lunch plans I said that I am "getting kidnapped for Mexican."

Well, one of my coworkers misheard me and responded with the following.

"WHAT?  You're getting kidnapped by Mexicans?!  Are we just going to LET that happen??!"
