Yes, I was up at 5:00 AM.
Yes, I watched the whole thing.
Yes, I giggled and clapped when they kissed.
There's nothing quite like a royal wedding.
Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
Earl and Countess of Strathearn
Baron and Baroness Carrickfergus
...yeah, those are the new titles for William and Kate.

Loved it! Loved her dress...so elegant and beautiful and regal! Still wish we could have had a wedding "tea party."
Irritating that so many on Facebook are being sooo negative about it, implying that those of us watching it are ridiculous, that there are more important things in the world. Yes, there's horrible things going on and its fine if folks don't care about the wedding, but don't bad mouth those of us that did care! Geez. Its nice to see something happy on the TV. Lol.
Loved it! Tell me oh History Diva, why is one of the names related to land located in Ireland, the Carrickfergus, I believe, when they are British royalty?

Excellent question, BalletDiva. It was presented to him as a gift by the Queen in recognition of William's current association with the Irish Guard (also marked by the red coat he is wearing in the picture). William is currently a member of the RAF but is stationed in the Carrickfergus area of Ireland...and he and Kate will be living in that area for another two years while he's still on active service. So while this title has actually be out of use since 1883, the queen seemed to feel it was a fitting title for him to hold.
So I bet you know what everyone's last name is. I've often wondered Queen Elizabeth....what? Prince Charles.....what? Princess Diana.....what? Prince William.....what? Kate.....what? What's her new last name since it's no longer Middleton. They have to have a last name!
Yes, their last name is Windsor.
I may not have watched it, but I did check out pics when I got to work (had to see the dress at least!). I feel bad that poor Prince William got stuck with the bad genes that lead to that bald spot...
LOL! At least he's aging gracefully...not like his dad...did you get an eyeful of the "Royal Comb-over"?
