Score One Point for the Tia

The past weekend was a busy one around DivaStan, what with that completely overloaded social calendar to mine to keep up with! One of the multitude of events was a garage sale/silent auction at the local church where the DivaFamily worships (minus myself, Tia, and ‘Bob’…kind of a long story there…). After roaming around in a almost uncharacteristic show of solidarity, Tia put it a bid on a planter which had been decorated by the Kid’sTown Sunday school class.

Not too surprisingly (what with her parents actually running the auction), she won.

Then came the family debate…is the tree/bush in the planter real or fake?

The Tia Parents: It’s Fake.

Tia and HistoryDiva: It’s Real.

The verdict…was provided by Mother Nature.

Behold, our beautiful, flowering, totally REAL hibiscus!

À la Chambre du chat

Le Gremlin!

L'oreiller réticent!

Today's French lesson brought to you by: Babel Fish

Sorry about the dark pics, gang. But it's like 100 degrees outside and the only way my poor little apartment air conditioning can keep up is if we keep the blinds closed and the lights off!

Also...please ignore the fact that I totally need a haircut...

Hahahahahahahahahaha!

I have NEVER liked these people...seriously NEVER...just ask LibraryDiva.

The Diva God-Daughter

Tonight, my lovely, talented, wonderful god-daughter took to the stage. Her ’class’ performed three numbers, a ballet number, a jazz number, and a tap number. Unfortunately, no photography was allowed during the performance but we could take as many pictures as we wanted during the curtain call.

Here she is with her class. You will notice that she is in a completely different outfit from the rest of her group. Well…she has this independent streak…and when they were done with their last number she changed back into her ’regular’ clothes. And when they broke the news to her that she HAD to put on her costume to go out for the final bow…she picked out the one she liked best instead of the one that matched the rest of the group.

Isn’t she just the cutest thing???

So Apparently...

...Tia has become rather 'attached' to Midget.
